Arts School Serves Kids in Uintah, Utah

Home School Program
Our home school program is targeted to home-schooled children of all ages in Uintah and throughout Weber and Davis counties. Kids in our home school program take kids theater classes our arts school every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with options to extend the day to 4:15 with add-on classes in subjects such as Spanish, American Sign Language and entrepreneurship.
At our arts school, we teach students acting, singing, dancing and other artforms, but also math, science and other core curriculum classes. Our teachers are highly experienced, motivated, and full of energy and knowledge that they want to give to your children.
Pre-K Program
Our pre-K program is designed to accommodate the younger siblings of students enrolled in our homeschool program. It’s convenient, because you can get an entire day to yourself to run errands, cook or clean uninterrupted or just relax while your children are at kids theater classes.
Our performing arts academy curriculum developers work hard to make every moment of preschool classes count. While we teach the little ones important skills such as cooperating and being kind, we also foster in them a love of the arts with lots of time singing, painting, dressing up and creating.
Children in the pre-K program also learn reading, writing and math skills.
Summer Arts Camp
The summer arts camp at our school of performing arts is the perfect way for your children to get a taste of what theater is all about. For two weeks, your children will get to immerse themselves in acting, singing, dancing and visual arts.
Each two-week summer arts camp session culminates in a live performance onstage. Your children will get to wear amazing costumes and makeup while performing on a real stage. That’s a show you won’t want to miss! Past performances include Seussical, Willy Wonka and Winnie-the-Pooh.
Performing Arts Academy for Kids
Our arts school, located in Ogden, Utah, is only a quick 15-minute drive from Uintah, making it especially convenient for parents. Our school day is long — six hours, for preschoolers as well — so you won’t spend half your day driving your kids back and forth to school. Our location near Uintah is also convenient for getting to performances — and for taking your kids to shows at The Ziegfeld Theater. Who knows, maybe your child will be such a prodigy they will win roles early, as Tiny Tim in A Christmas Carol, as Chava in Fiddler on the Roof or as Crutchie in Newsies.
